Challenge: The Caterer, a traditionally print-first brand, is stopping production of its magazine. It is moving to a new CMS and needs to be redesigned to service a digital audience.

My role

Research: I collected feedback from our audience and team to discover pain points with the current website, and combined this with digital best practice to craft a new sitemap and develop requirements for the new site.

Project management: I led the CMS migration project, taking ownership of all streams to ensure timely delivery. I collaborated with third-party suppliers to create the new site, and fed back to stakeholders the status of the project.

Design: I put together wireframes for the new site design. One major problem with the old site was that it wasn’t responsive, so I ensured good user experience across all breakpoints.

Strategy: I put together a new strategy for the brand, including how the team of writers would manage their time after the move from print, deciding on KPIs and creating new digital revenue streams.
